Warrant of Fitness

Melville Service Centre makes it quick and easy to keep your vehicle legal and roadworthy. Vehicles the years 1999 or older need to renew their Warrant of Fitness (WOF) every 6 months, while newer vehicles must be checked every 12 months.

With our fully qualified WOF inspectors all experienced in mechanics and servicing, we can quickly repair any issues that stop your vehicle from passing. Once we’ve completed any repairs, we can re-inspect your vehicle and issue the WOF.

It’s well worth combining your WOF with one of your regular services. Not only is it more convenient, WOF inspections don’t cover everything that keeps your vehicle safe and running well. We can look for problems that aren’t covered by the WOF, such as brake pad thickness and life expectancy, lubricant levels, paintwork condition and non-structural rust, and the engine, clutch, and differentials.

Finding out about potential problems and fixing them early can help you avoid costly repairs – or worse, a dangerous mechanical failure on the road.
